"I have all of these photographs I've kept..." |
I visited your site
about Wagner and the area, and I've also seen other Angeles/Olongopo sites
and I've done lots of reading and picture looking, and I have to say....
It really seems like there was a great community there before the bases
closed. I started feeling nostalgic about places I've never even
seen. I started to imagine the last class of seniors to graduate,
and the children who grew up there, some who at the time had never even
been to the U.S.
Just to be clear... I'm a proud American, who's never been in the service, but I started to feel like I wished I was... and I wish I was stationed there. I know this probably all sounds like rambling, but I just wanted someone from there to know how I felt. Thanks for the memories... Memories that I shouldn't even have. hehehehe Vince |

"...the most important photograph I've kept all these 35 years..." |
...You know, I was so
very surprised that at the very beginning of this program, I, without any
warning, burst into tears. They are still coming, just those slow,
big kind. This program will help to
explain to friends, and especially to my daughter, the importance of making
every day count with each other.
This had to have been an emotional roller coaster time for you....you did a wonderful job, given the circumstances. Thanks...Jeanne'72 |

the slower pace down here....he is settled into his new place and is finding lots of activities to fill his dance card. He is really terrific and getting better daily. Its really nice to have another family member in the area. Give my love to Miss Eleanor....she'll always be one of my favorite "moms"! What brand of beer are you serving with the popcorn? We might just try to swing by on one of our next trips up that way. Love to all of you.....Dianne '65 |

it. We watched it when I arrived home late Saturday evening and again on Sunday evening. I am going to take it to the AOSHS board meeting tomorrow and show it to them. The entire program is so genuine, and it really does bring back memories to all who have spent time in the overseas schools, either DoD or private. You and the TLC people "Done Good" John. Thank you from all the "Brats" who'll see it and have it bring back fond memories for them as it did for us!!!!!!!!!! Bruce Taft - Principal |
