While their food was cooking they took compasses and learned how to use them.  Rain was forecast and the sun only broke through a few times which is not good when you are using solar ovens.  Two of the solar ovens worked real well but most needed more sun then we had that day. 

One of the mothers came to our rescue with  hot hotdogs for us and s'mores are good hot or cold.  Just as we finished our lunch it started to pour rain.  We made a dash for the bus and returned to school.
