The last F4 to leave Clark AFB. Now at Anderson AFB, Guam. |
Me at the age of 48, along with my pride and joy, taken at our home in Carmenville. I later had several additions made to it which included driving lights that I wired into my high beams along with a flasher. You may recall, that driving on the highways in the PI had it's dangers. One of those was having to face someone passing in your lane driving right at you! If he flashed his headlights off and on it meant he was taking the right of way! On my Honda, the lights were on whenever it was running, with the low/high beam switch by my left thumb. When we were on the road, and anytime anyone started to pass in my lane it only took a second for my thumb to switch to high beam. This caused the headlight and driving lights to flash off and on. It did a good job on many occasions! |

The second picture is of my
wife at the age of 45! (Now you know why I'm still so young!) We loved
to tour the island.

Air Force City. Guess you could say this is the entrance to what they call Air Force City. Mainly it's the PAF. To the right is the road to the old base ops... the road you can barely see on the left is the old Dyess Highway which makes the rounds pass Dyess exchange, Base Supply, Old NCO Club, Commissary and BX areas. |

The Bamboo Bowl. Well, this place looks almost the same! This is the far side of the bamboo bowl. |
