I leave at 8:00 AM tomorrow on Delta out of DC (National) connecting in Atlanta at 9:45 or so then arriving in San Antonio around noon. Unlike Bruce - I am NOT packed yet - and will probably be up all night packing and getting ready to party !! That's OK - I think I'll be too excited to sleep anyway !!! See you all soon - Vicki '64 (62-65) |

On the flight to San Antonio '99, Thursday afternoon. Pat Wiggins Dumke '69 and our DJ, hubby Al. |
We spent some time just before dark in Schertz....I graduated from the high school - which was small then and is not even a high school anymore but still sooooo small now. Our house was tiny too....everything was smaller than I remember. But I love it. ....see you all tomorrow and the next day.. AARRGGH!!! I am so excited!!!!! Kandy |

I spoke to Chico (Wallace Reynolds '74) last night on the phone and he wants me to say "hello falcons". He wishes he could go. He asked me to say a special hello to Quiggly, but Don isn't listed on the attendee's list. So Don, if you are here online reading this and I don't see you at the reunion...hi, from Chico...otherwise I'll see ya in SA. BTW - Did I mention how excited I am? quacking up in Phoenix, itching to get to San Antonio and the Alamo did someone mention cheesecake....... Duckie '76 - Debbie Goldey

Arrive on Friday, at about 1:15 p.m. Butterflies in the tummy to think, "finally", I am going to make a reunion! Wonder what it will be like, staying up for 48 hrs. just talking and having a good time....any other takers? HA! See you in just a few! Barb Hi Barb, Ron Bonner '65 here. I remember you very well. We are looking forward to seeing you again after all this time - and glad you were able to find us. My first reunion was in Colorado
Springs two years ago, had lot's of butterflies and wondered if anyone
would remember me etc. but the moment you step into the reception room
and see everyone and start looking at all the memorabilia, and begin receiving
all those reunion hugs from people of all years, all the butterflies go
away and then your mind begins to race at 500 mph to try to get all this
in in just two days. The 35 year memory rewind commences!!!
Not much sleep, a little hoarse,
We have been in touch with Mark Atterbury '66 (Squeaky) but he hasn't made any of the reunions yet. Also Carol Riha '66 from your class./ She lives up near Houston - we are gonna work on getting them to come, maybe to a future reunion. See ya soon (((dress cool - it's hot here))) Ron Bonner '65 (61-63)

Gary McClellan '75 in his PJs Friday night slumber party |
we are headed for San Antonio '99 and another epic gathering. I thought after four major reunions that I would feel different about seeing my friends again, but it hasn't changed at all for me. I'm still just as nervous, happy, excited, and anxious as the very first time I saw Joe, danced with Betty, met Vicki, and found Becky. I can add about another million things, but most of all I'll never forget the true joy of sharing a weekend with all of you, my friends. With less than 5 days to go,
I'd like to share some words with you, especially those of you attending
for the first time: ...when I'm miles and miles apart from you,
John '65 SA '99
Wish I could join you. My heart will be there. Jerry'63 |
