| Comments: | This is great! I just found this web site and it feels so good. Like finding something that had been missing. Although, I didn't graduate from WHS, since we ordered our rings in our Jr. year, my class ring was from there. It's always been special to me. Those were probably the best years of my life. As as old boyfriend from there (that only took me 28 years to find!) recently told me, 'we made them special'. I was there my sophomore and junior years. I was the one in Harmelink's English class with the 'southern' accent. Also found out recently that Fritz Paulhamus in our class passed away last year, but don't really know any details except he had three boys. Anyway, would love to hear from anybody. Also, does anyone know the whereabouts of Kaleta Beasley? We were best friends our sophomore year, then she came back to the states. Haven't seen her since 1974. | Comments: | Whoa! I can't believe the memories that came flooding back after viewing some of the pictures in here. I think I even recognize some names on here! I have a sister, Nancy'86, and a brother, Jackie'89, who were also at Clark. We left in 1982 to live in Eglin AFB, FL. My most vivid memories are camping at the beach on the Bataan peninsula as part of a summer camp in the Boy Scouts (Troop 310!), camping in Camp O'Donnel, living in Manila for a couple of years, going to the beach in Subic, riding in a boat at Grande Island, and vacationing in John Hays, Baguio City. The Philippines was truly a great experience. I'm glad this website exists to remind us of it! |

Sqd.as structural planner assigned for Wagner High School maintenace and repair.We planned the job during summer vacations for several years.I've just been there last summer and passed by Wagner High School.There was some improvement infront of the school on that open field but I still prefer the old WHS.As I stopped my car and gazed I could not held back nostalgia coming back as I go around doing some work inspection inside WHS. The place is filled with young beautiful people talking along the hallways and some go up on that hill where they spent their break period.I enjoyed Wagner as well as you do. There's still a chance that we may come back there someday. |

| Comments: | this is great! i attended the overseas brats reunion in Fort Worth and my sister and i were the only ones from Wagner...but i found out that ya'll have a special Wagner reunion so my sister, Pam Green, my brother Ronnie Green and i want to go to the next one wherever it is..someone asked about john crumley, he was one of brother's friends...i found him listed as living in Johnson City, Tenn...sent him a message but he hasnt responded....i played varsity softball for Wagner in 62 and 63....Miss DesCombes was our coach, anyone remember her? also took judo at the base gym....the only match i lost was to one of the Char sisters.....someone asked about them also, i believe they might be living in Hawaii.....until i found out about this overseas brats thing, i always thought i was just weird or something, i seemed to come from another planet and the people around me just seemed on another wave length.....its been over 30 years since i got out of school but i still feel didfferent from others but i deal with it better than i used to....i wouldnt trade the way i grew up for anything...i loved every minute of it. there isnt very many people from the sixties out there sending messages....where are you guys? i need still need help dealing with these stateside folks....they're the ones that are weird really...hahahahahaa....cant wait to hear from anyone out there that can tell me i am OK......just kidding... |

The smoking tree in front of the school where I still have my name carved on one of branches,that I climed. and that little tree in front of the teen club. I remember the base police on a horse chase me across the golf couse. I did get away- ran under one of the houses by the parade ground. oooh I ran like the wind. I was sooo scard I did'nt even look back. and your wondering what I did! use your imagination. somthing really naughty. you name it I did it. and the times off base at J anns when they first opened up. Dancing on the dance floor wacked out of mind with the music blasting in my ears. and the Cave at diamond sub. fighting with the local boys. I think they condemed that place. and the beutifull blue beach at pangasinan. then, it all ended. I had to leave. not on my own! I was escorted out of the country. after five years I did come back to visit Clark and off base. I was soooo shocked! everything shrunk!!!! I'm glad to share this moment, of times I had in the P.I. Do any of you remember, if you can help me find Ace granada, thelma Taylor, Giles Lipscomb, Charlse Capello,Jerry Gonzales. and the beutiful quipo . a lot of the names that I see on this web site sound so familier but I can't place the face. Just so it is out in the open and to dispel the rumours - when we returned to the states in '77 I went to prison at the age of 15 and was just released in June of this year. Nothing I am proud of but it happened and I cannot change it. So many of you have stepped forward and have written me to offer hope, encouragement, concern, prayers and love and I cannot express just how deeply those e-mails have touched my heart. Those years at CAB were the best in my life and I met the most wonderful people there - time has proven that again and again with those of you that have chosen to still believe in me and offer pieces of your lives in sharing with me. | Comments: | It's a funny thing. When asked where I am from I've answered, 'Everywhere, my Dad was in the Air Force and we moved a lot'. Living somewhere for 2-4 years and then moving thousands of miles can leave a person without any real feeling of permanence. My brother has read that children of military parents have trouble with relationships due to never feeling connected to one place and knowing that leaving can be permanent. I was looking for pictures of the volcano, curious to see what was left of Clark, and found this site. It made me painfully aware of the people left behind and sad that I had not made an effort to retain any links to Clark. Now I feel somehow connected to Wagner in a way I have seldom experienced about anyplace. Martial law, the 'dirty bird' contests and the return of the POW's is etched in my mind and I am greatly pleased that so many of us have a chance to recapture memories that would have fallen away.
