located on the river. This event is always a special time
for all that can attend
The
grand OLE Opery can be visited by either a short drive or
by taking one of the Downtown Water Taxis.
This
year is the grand opening of Operymills which is slated
to be one of the biggest shopping malls in the south for
those who like that sort of thing.
Water sports can include the Nashville Shores Water Park
as well as fishing and boating on several local lakes and
waterways.
This is an ALL
Classes reunion so we have intentionally limited planned
activities so that other activities can be planned based
on the input and desires of the individual groups.
There will be a general reception for all classes on
Friday night where there will be finger foods and a cash
bar for those interested. This will be a perfect time to
mingle and meet up with old and new friends alike.
The big event for
the reunion will be The Rockin Country
Reunion dinner and dance on Saturday night. We will
have dinner in the hotel followed by a night of music,
dancing and merriment for all to enjoy. Dress will be
casual, country, formal or what ever but for those who
carry a reputation at reunions please note
that you will be required to be dressed so get someone to
help if you need it. Dinner plans are still open but I
have been assured that we will find some way to have some
of the delicacies that we have all come to love and enjoy
during our stay on common ground. (PS I have some basic
recipes but if anyone has anything special please send to
TnBigBird@AOL.com )
