Group at the poolside bar |
From: Dan w Theobald <danny3447@Juno.com> Well, It's now history.
After 3 months of working each day on the Orlando Reunion, It has come
and gone. There is no way without writing a book to tell everyone
how great it was! There were no snags at all ! The Hotel knocked
themselves out for our group! The buffet looked like something
from a small ocean liner...piles of shrimp, fresh fruit and veggies all
surrounded by fresh flowers and flowers made from pineapples and other
fresh fruit. The lumpia and pork stix were gotten by the hotel from
a local Fim-Am market as were the Pandasol rolls from the Manila Bakery...all
were great! The chicken adobo was made at the hotel and tho
not quite perfect, very close. The Baron of Beef was perfect.
The cake was about 3 ft square and had the Wagner emblem in the middle
with a picture of checkpoint on the left and a pic. of the TeenClub on

From: "Donna" <Donna@jadebox.com> Howard Baugh'61 was watching TV one day when all of a sudden he realizes that he is seeing many of his classmates from 40 years ago. The show is the Reunion show from Charleston. He said the hair on his arms and head stood up. What a surprise!!!!!!! He immediately went to his computer and put in the URL that he saw on the car in the show. He spent hours reliving his teen years. He has an email address DABAWZ@aol.com. |

Barbara Honeywell told me that Howard Baugh's Dad is/was a Tuskegee Airman. I looked it up and there is a Howard L Baugh who served in the 99th Fighter Sqd. Just thought that was neat. Donna |

- You all really know how to throw a party! Thank you so much for
all your hard work - it really paid off. Everything was perfect!

problemo: I had laryngitis - still have, as a matter of fact - and
couldn't do anything more than whisper. My husband seemed to
thorougly enjoy this situation, but it was (and is) utter torture for me!
Barbara Long was instructed by the other '65 slumber party ladies to keep
hugging me - hope you (or anyone else) did NOT get my

From: "K.Bruce Hills" <autohaus@downeast.net> OK, this explains it, I (we) get back from Boston around 6:00PM Saturday nite, drop the folks off and check into the homestead. I tell Darlene that the Wagner Orlando party should be warming up but I'll wait till seven or so to call and wish everone a real "ROCK ON". At 7:00 PM I crank up ole' Ma' Bell and get the hotel, ask to speak to Terry Worsely which I can't pronounce who is with the Wagner reunion poolside. The operator at the hotel, having trouble with my English, efficiently transfers me to Terry's room where she ain't, Duh. So I ring back and this time speaking much slower with my best Downeast accent explain that Terry is probably poolside where the reunion is going on, OK, we get the bar, but the girl doesn't understand me cause Twist & Shout is blasting and people are screaming and shouting and I tell Darlene sounding like they are having one Hell of a good time without me. So after five minutes of trying to explain to the girl at the bar that Terry is a girl not a guy and yes it is an emergency, and forget Worsely (sp) and go find Terry Kincer the girl, I get Terry on the phone, too kool. So now I know who was making all the noise and why they can't talk, NO G.D. wonder. My turn in San Diego gang. BruceH64' |
