Hmmm... what was unique about the Class of 94 at Wagner High School? Well, a new Wagner High was built in 90... and we were the first and only freshmen in the halls. The first few weeks are so memorable: the synchronized clocks in every classroom showing the wrong time, getting used to the smell of dry-erase markers on the whiteboards, the central air-conditioning that froze us to death. Other memorable events: Billy
Joel giving Clark a free concert at Challenger Field and getting us out
of class for a special assembly... Supporting our troops who fought in
the Gulf War through Showcase and Showtime...But we, the class of 94, never
even got the chance to elevate to sophomore status. Oh well. In June 1991,
we evacuated to escape the ash of Mount Pinatubo. No one had to take finals!
Some of us didn't get our yearbooks... some of us didn't even get a chance
to say goodbye. it was all so sudden.
